Anchor Scripture
(Joshua 1:8 KJV) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Meditation is thinking through scriptures in a quest to find solutions to problems - 2Tim 3:15

Meditation is one of the main channels of putting God's word to work and God's word make you wise when commit yourself to the act of meditation its is only when  you meditate on God's word that's when you can be able to apply it.  1Tim 4:13-15

When we get to the art of meditation of the word of God we are processing it into profitable substance and we become wise through meditation  and a perfect example is the story of the prodigal son thought his way out of trouble and took step

Prov 18:1- in meditation you intermeddle in manifold wisdom

How to Meditate on the Word of God

1. Think on God's word : you must be able to ponder and think through on the word of God so that the word can be rooted in your heart and faith can be produce

(Philippians 4:8 KJV) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

2. Talk God's word : Keep on confessing his word - Eph 4:29

3. Walk in God's word : The word of God you don't can never produce results it is not just knowing the word but doing what know

(James 1:22 KJV) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Foundation for Meditation

1. Memorize the word and keep it in your heart because its what you have inside of you that you speak out - Matt12:34

2. Personalize the word: you should be able to relate the word to your personal situation.

3. Visualize the word have a picture of what the word of God says about you

The Reward of Meditation

1. Believe the word and do it

2. Store up the word in your heart

(Colossians 3:16 KJV) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

3. Speak the word  and pray the word effectively as God only answers prayers based on his word

(1 John 5:14 KJV) And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

(Luke 21:33 KJV) Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
